Lyft is Going Outside the U.S. Market to Canada

Lyft has decided it's time to expand outside of the US market and the first target is Toronto. I imagine they will continue to expand to other cities once Toronto is up and operating, but we'll have to wait and see how things go in Toronto. Once again, competition will be good for the consumer because it gives a person more choices and potentially drives down cost. I hope you enjoy your lyft up there in the great white north.

Asked how Lyft will compete, Zimmer says 50,000 Torontonians downloaded the app this year with no service available. And, while he won’t say the word "Uber," he has no hesitation in positioning his company as a more ethical option to "our competitor."
