Tokyo Is Getting a New Life-Size Gundam

I hear that Tokyo is a pretty sweet vacation spotآ—you can not only buy used underwear out of a vending machine but also stand under a giant Gundam and look under its crotch. I am not sure why Japan is dismantling the current one, as the only thing better than one giant anime robot blocking your view is two, but it will be replaced with the "RX-0 Unicorn Gundam." I have no idea what that is and think they should erect Wing Zero Custom instead.

Today marks the last day of the life-size Gundam in Tokyo, as it is now going to be dismantled. However, not only are there plans to create a life-size Gundam that walks by 2019 but we are also getting a replacement statue in the form of the Unicorn Gundam later this year. Considering that today is the last time you will be able to see the life-size Gundam in Tokyo, people were out in force to pay their respects. Thankfully, Bandai had some great news for Gundam fans, as the life-size RX-78-2 Gundam will get replaced with the RX-0 Unicorn Gundam later in the year. The interesting thing here is that the original Gundam is only 18 meters tall, whereas the Unicorn Gundam is closer to 24 meters. That's a noticeable size increase.
