AMD Ryzen Review Leaks Early

An Iranian website called Shhrskhtafzar has posted it's AMD Ryzen 1700X review a bit earlier than AMD intended. Guru3D says that AMD didn't send Shhrskhtafzar a press kit, so they had to get them from retail and thus weren't under NDA. They were limited to 2133Mhz DDR4 memory with the AMD Ryzen 1700X system while the Intel systems had access to 3200Mhz DDR4 memory. This was due to a lack of an updated bios on the as the manufacturer's website as the AM4 motherboards are not officially released. At any rate it was interesting to see some numbers from the new AMD processor a bit earlier than intended. There are a ton of benchmark images in the original article so make sure to check them out!

The review carries a good number of benchmarks based on a B350 motherboard from MSI as well as a AMD Ryzen 1700X processor. That model would be the 3.4 GHz base and 3.8 MHz Turbo clocked version. They us a GeForce GTX 980 for gaming, which definitely forms a bit of a GPU bottleneck. ShahrSakhtafzar goes through the benchmark paces with a Core i7 7700K, 6700K and 6950X for comparison.
