AMD Releases Radeon Software Crimson ReLive Edition 17.2.1

AMD has released Radeon Software Crimson ReLive Edition 17.2.1. This driver release has a 4% boost to performance in For Honor and a 5% boost in Sniper Elite 4. It also enables a multi-GPU for both games under DX11. AMD has discovered some bugs related to FreeSync, mGPU, and others. So make sure that you read the patch notes and report them to their support team.

Fixed Issues

  • For Honorآ™ may experience an application crash when switching to fullscreen or menus in gameplay on Multi GPU configurations

  • AMD FreeSyncآ™ technology mode may fail to enable itself on some fullscreen applications.

  • On some Radeon GCN products DXVA H.264 encoded video may experience corruption when fast forwarding or seeking through content

  • Counter-Strikeآ™: Global Offensive has incorrect default slider values with Radeon Chill enabled.

  • Graphics processor information may be missing from system information overlay on Radeon ReLive captured videos.

  • Replay/Recording is active or the feature may not work as expected.

  • Memory clocks may become locked at low states on Radeon R9 380 series products.

  • AMD Radeon HD 7900 series products may experience shadow corruption when shadows are disabled in Civilizationآ™ VI.
