In 2016, Tech’s Big Color Trend Was Ombrأ©

I think there was a typo in that headline. Instead of "ombrأ©," I think they meant to say "ugly." The bad part is, once the big companies start copying each other, then everyone else acts like it's trendy and follows suit. frown

Think pieces the internet over (ahem) would have you believe that rose goldآ—a.k.a. "millennium pink," "pale dogwood," and "rose quartz"آ—was the definitive color trend of 2016. This writer respectfully disagrees. The year’s biggest color trend wasn’t a single hue, at all. It was a blend of them. More precisely, it was ombrأ© (the ten dollar word for color gradients).
