ENERMAX Wins German Design Award Special Mention 2017

ENERMAX announces that the DIGIFANLESS power supply is honored with German Design Award 2017 by the German Design Council. The DIGIFANLESS is the only PC hardware component that was nominated and has won the recognition this year; the DIGIFANLESS is also the 1st switching power supply to win this award. Since its premiere in 2012, the German Design Award has been one of the most prestigious design competitions in the world. To be eligible for nomination, products or design services must either be recommended by members of the award screening committee or previously receive an international design award, such as Red Dot, iF, Computex d&i awards, etc.

DIGIFANLESS 550W, the 2015 Computex d&i awards winner, is the world’s 1st digital fan-less power supply. Its extended surface heat sink design with mesh exterior on three sides provides great cooling efficiency. Without a fan, it presents a silent PC operation (0 dBA) which is perfect for silent enthusiasts. The digital ZDPMS software allows the user to monitor the main power status and to make control of it: to switch between single and multi-rail output; to adjust the +12V voltage, to setup circuit protections’ warning tolerance; as well as the calculation of electricity consumption. The award ceremony will take place next February at the Ambiente 2017 in Frankfurt am Main, Germany.
