Curt Schilling Agrees To $2.5M Settlement In 38 Studios Case

Where can I sign up for a deal like this? You give me $75 million and I'll blow it all. Then when you find out that I don't have the money or assets to repay you, I'll only have to cough up $2.5 million while totally denying any responsibility. That's a sweetheart deal if I ever saw one.

Former Red Sox pitcher Curt Schilling and others have agreed to pay $2.5 million to settle their part of a lawsuit brought over Rhode Island's disastrous $75 million deal with 38 Studios, his failed video game company. The settlement agreement with Schilling and other 38 Studios officials was announced Monday by the Rhode Island Commerce Corp.
