Google Accused of Stealing Idea For Project Loon

Does anyone know why it takes so long for lawsuits like this to be filed? This all allegedly took place back in 2007. There are pictures of Sergey Brin with a Space Data balloon back in 2008. Project Loon was officially announced in 2013. So why is it that only now has a lawsuit been filed?

Google’s big plans to use giant solar-powered balloons to provide Internet access has hit some turbulence.
