65 Million Users Affected by Tumblr Breach

Apparently that Tumblr breach was far more serious than the site let on early last month. Security researchers are now putting the number of people affected at around 65 million. If you have a Tumblr account and haven't updated your password, now would be a good time.

Tumblr refused to say how many users had been affected by the breach, but it turns out that it’s a significant number. An individual using the online moniker "peace_of_mind" has been offering information associated with 50 million Tumblr accounts on a darknet website called "The Real Deal" for the price of 0.4255 Bitcoin (roughly $225). Australian security researcher Troy Hunt has analyzed the data and found a total of 65,469,298 records.
