HTC 10 Only Sells 251 Units In China

Preorders for the new HTC flagship at Chinese retailers would suggest that it’s some kind of failure. While the Chinese version of the phone has different (worse) specs than the global version, that number does sound alarmingly low.

HTC started accepting preorders for the HTC 10 on April 25 through TMall and Jingdong Mall, two of the major e-commerce sites in China. Records show that 11 days after the preorder campaign kicked off, the number of units ordered was only at 251. The latest report was revealed by Focus Taiwan, which also said that preorder sales on the handset clearly indicate how consumers in China showed a lack of interest in HTC's latest flagship.
