Breaking News: NVIDIA Introduces its Nano Competitor, the NITO!

The sat-phone rang, I picked it up, and a person I can refer to as only "GreenThroat" spoke in a raspy voice. "September 4th, 10am CDT PAPER embargo," were the first words out of his mouth.

Today NVIDIA is kicking off its AMD Nano competitor. This new video card will harness the most awesome and incredible power of the TITAN X GPU. NVIDIA has waded in behind AMD on this one, so AMD gets all the credit. The new video card is the "NITO," pronounced "nee-toh." The PCB has gone through incredible engineering and has been compressed to fit into the billions of enthusiast computer systems that focus on the tiny mini-ITX builds. Not only that, NVIDIA has greatly reduced the power envelope of the NITO card as well by severely retarding the default TITAN X clock rates, although NVIDIA was not specific on just how much, but they did say it would "run up to a specified clock speed." Doing this has allowed NVIDIA to use a much less expensive cooling system that will of course be showcased by its $1000 pricetag, keeping it perfectly in line with the TITAN X pricing, even though performance will not be close to comparable...but it will fit in those billions of mini-ITX builds, NVIDIA assured us.

The full NVIDIA NITO video release can be seen below.
