ASUS Open Overclocking Cup 2014: The 16 Finalists

After a month of excitement, the AOOC 2014 qualifier is now complete. The results are in, and the qualifying overclockers are announced below, ahead of what will be an electrifying finals showdown, to be held between November 22th-23th in Moscow, Russia. 16 overclockers won their tickets to compete in the live finals. Final Results: By dominating 2 of the 3 benchmarks, 8pack took first place in the qualifier followed by Dancop and Wizerty in 2nd and 3rd places.

The XTU benchmark was limited to a maximum of 5 GHz. Alex@Ro got the best efficiency with his Core i7 4790K paired with his Maximus VII Gene. In 3DMark Fire Strike Extreme, 8pack dominated this benchmark with 8731 marks on a single GTX 780 Ti card running at 1,975MHz (+ 118.96% overclock). In PiFast, 8pack again took first place with a score of 10sec 90ms, while Wizerty, came in at a very close second with 10sec 110msl; only 20 ms separated the two overclockers. Well done to all the overclockers who participated in the qualifier phase and congratulations to the 16 finalists!
