DARPA Uses Preteen Gamers to Beta Test Military Software

DARPA it seems, is not all weird gadgets and strange robotic machines capable of doing fantastic things. DARPA also has a darker side, utilizing pre-teen gamers to test military research through video gaming. The stuff that bad sci-fi movies are made of.

The Center for Game Science, a research lab that makes educational video games for children, and that received the bulk of its funding from the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency, the wing of the US Department of Defense that supports research into experimental military technology.
