Intel Funds Technology/Arts Program at Carnegie Mellon University

Intel is funding a program at Carnegie Mellon University combining technology and the arts and encompassing such areas as animation and special effects, gaming, sound design and development of learning media. The Intel support, which includes funding a research scientist position and donated laptops, tablets and development boards, is part of the Intel Design School Network. The network encompasses five leading design schools around the world and aims to promote creative thinking in areas where technology and user experience collide.
