Sprint Demos Games Streaming Over Its Next-Gen Wireless Network

Ask any gamer. If you’re looking for a great network connection, you want more than just the ability to suck down bits and bytes quickly. For smooth gaming آ– especially when you’re playing a game on a remote server آ– you want one with low latency. That’s tough to deliver over wired networks. So we figured streaming games would be the perfect way to illustrate not just the speed آ– but the low latency delivered by our next-generation Sprint Spark wireless network.

Just imagine being able to stream the very latest, most graphically-intense game to your mobile device while you’re on the go. That’s why we’re using NVIDIA’s GRID cloud gaming technology to demonstrate "Borderlands 2" being streamed over our next-generation Sprint Spark wireless network to a MiFi mobile hotspot at the Sprint Innovation Center in Burlingame, Calif. These action-packed, graphically-demanding games are the perfect way to show the quality of the network we’re announcing today آ– and the kind of services you’ll be able to enjoy on it in the months and years to come.
