Twitter Is Hiding Two Years Of Financial Data

Given the massive amounts of money this company lost in the years it DID report, you can only imagine why they decided not to report the financial data for 2008 and 2009. eek!

In filing paperwork for an initial public offering, Twitter offered a glimpse at its financials going back to 2010, when the startup was just starting to earn real money. But for two prior years, Twitter exercised its right to remain silent. The lack of disclosure is perfectly legal, thanks to a new law that eases regulations on certain companies going public. Nevertheless, it raises an obvious question: What happened to Twitter in 2008 and 2009?
