AT&T Extends Upgrade Period to Two Years

AT&T isn’t inviting its present and potential customers to bend over, just flat out telling them to. Following the lead set by Verizon, AT&T has extended its upgrade policy from 20 months to a full two years. Granted, it’s only four months and taken by itself isn’t that much, but when it’s added to the existing 20 month period, it’s a long, long time between upgrades.

All of its new contract subscribers, as well as those whose terms finish in March or later, will have to cope with the longer waiting periods.
