Analyst: Publishers Won't Block Used Games, Much

Microsoft seems to think the company has dodged a bullet on the subject of restricting the sales of used games this week by putting that bullet in a gun and handing it back to the game publishers. What the publishers do from that point onward to kill the resale of games should exonerate MS from any responsibility of whatever happens next, but don’t count on it, Microsoft....gamers are a vindictive bunch with long memories.wink

Microsoft believes they can now feel blameless about what happens next, but the current backlash exists because many consumers are upset Microsoft gave them the weapon in the first place.
