Intel Wins Patent Appeal Against N-Data

Okay, let's give this company the benefit of the doubt when they sued (and lost) Intel the first time. Maybe they didn't know Intel had licensed the tech 22 years earlier. But to appeal that decision only to lose again? Sheesh, talk about gluttons for punishment. eek!

The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit ruled on Monday that Intel did not infringe the patents because it had licensed them from National Semiconductor Corp in 1976. National had assigned the patents to Vertical Networks Inc in 1998, which assigned them to N-Data.
