Brits Just Say No to No Porn

A proposed automatic block on the Internet access to pornography at the ISP level has been rejected by the UK government after the matter was put to parents and organizations to get their views on what the preferred course of action should be.

Nick Pickles, director of Big Brother Watch, which is opposed to default filtering, said: "This is a positive step that strikes the right balance between child safety and parental responsibility without infringing on civil liberties and freedom of speech.
