Kim Dotcom Proposes Broadband Plan for N.Z.

Well, he’s backآ….again. This time Kim Dotcom is proposing something useful to New Zealanders: High speed broadband at a very low rate. Dotcom wants to re-start the Pacific Fiber Cable project with investors at a cost of $400 M to provide fast, affordable broadband to New Zealanders and to attract new online business concerns.

"You have clean and cheap energy here. Power is becoming the biggest cost factor for data centres around the world. With its own cable, cheap power and connectivity New Zealand could attract foreign internet business.
