Google's Marissa Mayer Named Yahoo CEO

I am sure I'm not alone in thinking this is probably not the best career move. Then again, she might just be in it for the big pay day. We all know what the hustle at Yahoo is...get CEO position, get fired/ousted months later and walk with millions in severance pay. WIN! eek!

Mayer, who starts at Yahoo Inc. on Tuesday, was one of Google's earliest employees and was most recently responsible for its mapping, local and location services. Mayer, 37, began her career at Google in 1999 after getting her master's degree at Stanford, the school Google's co-founders attended.
