Fair Labor Association Releases Apple, Foxconn Report

The Fair Labor Association has released its report on Foxconn today. The funny part is, this is one of those reports that supporters and detractors alike will claim "victory." This quote is rather comical:

"The Fair Labor Association gave Apple's largest supplier the equivalent of a full-body scan through 3,000 staff hours investigating three of its factories and surveying more than 35,000 workers. Apple and its supplier Foxconn have agreed to our prescriptions, and we will verify progress and report publicly," said Auret van Heerden, FLA president and chief executive officer.

Even if the FLA spent 5 minutes with each of the 35,000 employees (not investigating or inspecting), those 3,000 man hours would be eaten up fast. Heh, maybe the FLA meant it literally when they said they put them all through a full body scan! *Beep* You are done. Next. *Beep* You are done. Next. big grin
