London to Get Europe’s Biggest Ever Wi-Fi Zone

Londoners are getting a side benefit from the upcoming Summer Olympic Games. Crews have been busy setting up mobile hotspots to accommodate all of the expected Olympic visitors coming to London. The best part of all is it is all going to be free access. The network is scheduled to begin coming online this month and will be completed prior to the arrival of tourist traffic.

London isn’t the only city striving to provide free wireless internet to citizens and visitors. New York has been working to put wireless internet in parks and in the subway. Paris is also dotted with public hotspots.
