First Android store, Androidland, opens in Australia

Google has joined the ranks of Apple, Microsoft, Sony and several other large companies having a brick and mortar store to showcase their products. Google chose Melbourne, Australia for their flagship store. Being the store is down under, if it goes belly-up it will still land on its feet as far as Google headquarters is concerned. big grin

There's no word if Google plans to expand Androidland into other locations. Earlier this year Google launched a "store within a store" in a few UK retail locations to help sell its Chromebook devices.
