Charlie Walton, Inventor of RFID, Passes Away at 89

You may say who is he and why is his passing important, but you know him by his accomplishments. Charlie Walton invented RFID technology to enable wireless readers in door locks, key cards, cargo tracking, supply chain management and hundreds of other daily uses and held over 50 patents. Charlie Walton died November 6th at age 89. His legacy lives on.

Every time you use one of these chips, it would be nice if, once in a while, you thought about the man who invented them
