Verizon's 'Can You Hear Me Now' Fleet Testing 4G

Verizon has a fleet of 100 vehicles traveling around the U.S. to more than 160 cities nationwide, stopping occasionally and asking "Can you hear me now" just like in their commercials of old. Verizon implemented 4G service last December. While checking their own 3G and 4G service, they are also checking all major carriers’ service for comparison testing.

Badger said the trucks test 4G and 3G networks including those of AT&T, T-Mobile USA, Sprint Nextel, Clearwire (Sprint's 4G partner), MetroPCS and Cricket, depending on which operators offer service in the local market.
