SFPD Accompanied Apple Security on ‘Raid’

A follow-up story to the article published yesterday clarifies the facts just a bit. A spokesman for the San Francisco Police Department issued a retraction on the department’s earlier statement concerning officers accompanying Apple security searching for a missing phone prototype. It now seems that Apple security was accompanied by "three or four" plainclothes officers on the search.

SFPD spokesman Lt. Troy Dangerfield said the three or four plainclothes officers at the scene "stood outside while the Apple employees scoured Calderأ³n's home, car, and computer files."
