Google Joins Apple in Counterattack Against Paul Allen

It looks like Apple has teamed up with Google to fight off patent infringement lawsuits filed by Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen. Apple, Google, Facebook, Yahoo and six other companies were named in the patent suit file by Allen back in August.

Google launched the counterattack against Allen on Oct. 18 when it filed a motion to dismiss the claims. The motion asserted that Interval had failed to show how Google had infringed the patents, and that it had not named the technologies used by or the services offered by Google that allegedly violated those patents.
