No Biggie:

It seems as though a few folks are making a big deal out of Microsoft pushing DX9 back a bit leaving ATi's 9700 shipping with only DX8.1x drivers. Considering there is not one damn game that supports DX9, I think this will not be a real issue.

SoC Stagnate:

Digitimes has got a story posted that questions whether or not System-on-a-Chip is going to make it soon. SoC is of course the next pinnacle of desktop system integration.

Despite hopes of launching SoCs integrating microprocessors and south/north bridge chipsets, demand has dragged, and with the challenges posed by shrinking IP dimensions, variable production processes, complex testing and high costs, only a handful of companies are able to launch these SoCs, industry sources indicate.
