MSI GeForce GTX 1080 Ti GAMING X TRIO Review

MSI has launched a new high end entry to its GeForce GTX 1080 Ti GAMING series lineup. The MSI GeForce GTX 1080 Ti GAMING X TRIO has a lot of performance with improved cooling compared to previous GAMING series video cards. We’ll see how well it performs in several games, and overclock it as high as we can.


Battlefield 1

We are using the latest version of Battlefield 1 on the PC. Though this game supports DX11 and DX12 we only ran it in DX11 since that performs faster on all video cards. We are playing the multiplayer game on a 64-player map with a full 64 players.

Highest Playable Settings

In Battlefield 1 we have no trouble running at the highest possible settings at 4K in this game on the MSI GTX 1080 Ti GAMING X TRIO. Averaging 75FPS the video card is 6% faster than the reference GTX 1080 Ti. Overclocked the video card gains 8% in performance.
