Fallout 4 is a post-apocalyptic role-playing game and was released on November 10th, 2015 developed by Bethesda Game Studios and published by Bethesda Softworks. Fallout 4 is the fifth installment in the series and takes places a decade after Fallout 3 and in the location of Boston, Massachusetts.
You will be very familiar with Fallout 4 in terms of gameplay mechanics and its modification ability since this game was made on the same engine and developer as games such as The Elder Scrolls Series, notably Skyrim and even Fallout 3. In fact, many game players have noted this game's striking similarities to Skyrim particular in terms of graphics, game mechanics, and gameplay.
Fallout 4 is based on Bethesda Softwork's Creation Engine. This is the same engine that powers Skyrim. Fallout 4 actually uses an updated version of this engine that does improve upon graphics capabilities and features. These are the notable improvements: increased texture resolution, volumetric lighting, physically-based rendering (PBR) shaders, weapon and armor and settlement modification, improved character creation system.

How We Sorted the Mods
Since there are still so many mods in each category to look through, we sorted the mods and looked through each and every one in those categories. Our decision to use a mod stems from several factors. We looked at the popularity of the mod, the number of downloads of the mod, how easy or difficult it is to apply the mod and how much of a visual change it makes during gameplay.
We have selected mods from a few categories. We have several mods that we are going to show under a textures category. This is a collection of mods that improve texture quality, probably the best way to improve visuals in the game. Then we are going to show you a way to improve lighting in the game. We are also going to show you a mod that creates seasons in the game and the good thing about that is much better wasteland graphics. We are also going to show you one that makes weather much better and finally we will talk about re-shades and the impact on the game.
