On the test bench today we have the NZXT Phantom 530 full-tower chassis. If the name sounds familiar, that is because the Phantom 530 was originally introduced in 2010 and, what you see here is a completely redesigned chassis. This what NZXT had this to say about the newly redesigned chassis: " Continuing the legacy of the original, the new Phantom was meticulously designed from the ground up for a refreshing new design that is uncompromising in every way. While creating the Phantom 530, the NZXT design team painstakingly took every beloved aspect of the original and made it even better. "

Product Packaging

The NZXT Phantom 530 was shipped in its bare product packaging and arrived without so much as a scratch. The box itself is constructed of double-walled corrugated cardboard with a row of staples along the seam. The overall measurements are 24.5"H x 25.5"L x 12.5"W.

The front of the box prominently features a hero shot of the case. On the back you will find the product name, company logo, product information and a list of feature. The case itself is wrapped in a plastic bag and held in place by very large styrofoam inserts.

NZXT took extra steps to ensure the high gloss finish on the Phantom 530 was not damaged during shipping. The entire chassis is covered with thick sheets of plastic to prevent scratching or rub marks, much the way automakers protect a car's finish during transport.
