NZXT Phantom 630 Modular Full Tower Case

NZXT's new enthusiast computer case, the Phantom 630, looks to be truly designed for the computer hardware enthusiast and does not just carry the label like so many other products. NZXT has built the chassis with the end user in mind that wants to take things up a notch and not be annoyed when trying to accomplish his build goals.

Introduction

NZXT Corporation, founded eight years ago in Los Angeles, has become extremely popular with the enthusiast community thanks in large part to its coolers, power supplies and computer cases like the NZXT Phantom 820 full-tower case we reviewed last year. The subject of today's evaluation is the NZXT Phantom 630. While this case may look like a shorter version of the Phantom 820, it has a few tricks up its sleeve that sets it apart from its larger sibling.

The Phantom 630 is the newest addition to the company's "Crafted Series" line of computer cases. The product page boldly states that the NZXT Phantom 630 is the "future" and a new era of case design. Well then, let's not waste any more time. Let's see what this case has to offer, shall we?

Product Packaging

The NZXT Phantom 630 was shipped in its bare product packaging and, as you can see from the images below, was unscathed by the shipping process. The box itself is constructed of double-walled corrugated cardboard with a double row of staples along the seam. The overall measurements are 27"H x 27"L x 13"W.

The front of the box prominently features a hero shot of the Phantom 630 on an artistic 3D background. The back of the box has product information and a list of features. The case itself is wrapped in a plastic bag and held in place by thick Styrofoam inserts.
