Android Auto Isn't Quite Ready For Prime Time

Android Auto will be making a more expansive debut in a number of new cars later this year, but some have found Google's approach to car infotainment rather lacking. For those who are invested in Google's ecosystem, will you still give Android Auto a shot?

For starters, it might surprise you that the implementation found on the Sonata is based on Android 2.3 Gingerbread software. Google launched Gingerbread in December 2010, so it's fairly limited compared to the latest and greatest version of Android.
