Court: NSA Bulk Phone Data Collection Program Is Illegal

So, cellphone tracking without a warrant is legal but the NSA's bulk phone data collection program is illegal. It's getting hard to keep track of what is legal and what isn't these days.

"Because we find that the program exceeds the scope of what Congress has authorized," circuit judge Gerard E. Lynch wrote, "we vacate the decision below dismissing the complaint without reaching appellants’ constitutional arguments."
