Google Offers $164M To Support Quality Journalism

Am I the only one that thinks this is fishy? I mean, Google is still facing an antitrust case in Europe and that whole "Google tax" thing last year was pretty ugly as well. Now all the sudden here's millions of dollars for quality journalism? Can we get on that list?

And thirdly, we have allocated 150 million euros to stimulating and supporting innovation in digital journalism within the news industry in Europe, over the next three years. In the feedback we hear from publishers and editors, it is clear that there is a great desire to experiment more freely, but risk-taking comes at a cost.
