NYC's Mayor Sets The Stage For Universal Broadband

It looks as though New York City mayor BIll de Blasio is moving ahead with plans for universal broadband. I guess we just have to wait and see if he can pull it off or not. Are we taking bets?

New York City mayor BIll de Blasio is making good on his promise to bring fast and affordable broadband throughout the city. Or at least, he's getting there. The de Blasio administration has created two high-level positions to help with the push, and it's also announcing an open call for ideas on how to make the dream of universal broadband happen.
