A sharp-eyed reader spotted a job description ad on LinkedIn on Saturday from AMD. It looks like AMD is looking for a CPU Performance Engineer to add to its development team, specifically for those with 3D graphic driver experience to put more game in AMD’s gaming play.

However what’s perhaps interesting in this particular instance is that even with the financial pressures that AMD has been going through recently, the company is still increasing software development R&D spending.
