Microsoft Acquires Maker of Surface Pro 3 Pen

Without much ado, Microsoft quietly picked up Israeli startup N-trig for a reported $200M. N-Trig is the producer of a stylus pen that is used in not only the Surface Pro 3, but also in devices made by the top manufacturers of portable devices.

The N-Trig acquisition appears aimed at new Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella's vision of making writing with a stylus on a tablet, smartphone, or laptop screen as natural as writing on paper
