New Chrome Extension Spots Unencrypted Tracking

As the privacy battle rages on, browsers fight to keep one step ahead of third party tracking tools.

Chrome has a new extension called TrackerSSL that will alert the user to a website’s lack of security in its tracking cookies and provide a list of embedded trackers.

As demand for secure technology grows, most websites will not be able to protect their readers unless they stop using insecure ad trackers.
