Netflix and Amazon Score Multiple Golden Globe Nominations

It still a strange feeling to see two unrelated companies that started life on the Internet as a book seller and mail order movie rental company going head to head for Golden Globe Awards for original content. As far as the nominations go, Amazon scored two nominations and Netflix had seven.

Netflix is on fire, also having recently received five nominations for the SAG Awards for both HOC and OITNB, along with three nominations each for the WGA and PGA Awards, and eight NAACP Image Award nominations.
