SoftBank in Talks to Acquire DreamWorks Animation

Japanese Telecom and Internet conglomerate SoftBank has definitely developed a taste for American cuisine of late. After gobbling up Sprint Corporation and game developer Supercell as the main courses, SoftBank is eying DreamWorks Animation as a tasty dessert.

Just months ago, the company sought to purchase fourth-place US carrier T-Mobile and merge it with Sprint to make a stronger, more competitive network.
