First Wearable Device for Seniors Keeps Tabs on Their Health
Finally there is a justifiable reason to use a wearable device. A wristband tracker made by CarePredict and being backed by crowdsourcing, will not only track normal daily activities, but also alerts caregivers to abrupt changes in seniors routines, signaling the possibilities of mental or physical problems.
The wristband works with room beacons (or sensors) that track the user's movement throughout the home. The data is transmitted to a communications hub that analyzes it and triggers notifications to a caretaker's mobile device or computer.
