Calling Developers For $1M Intel RealSense Technology App Challenge

Today Intel opened the Intel® RealSense™ Technology App Challenge 2014 for submissions. This competition calls on developers to create apps that take advantage of the natural and immersive interactions made possible by Intel® RealSense™ technology with 3-D Intel® RealSense™ cameras that will become available on 2 in 1s, all-in-ones, tablets and other personal computing devices. Participating developers will use the Intel® RealSense™ Software Development Kit 2014 for Windows, and leverage the tools and APIs to create exciting new experiences including: gesture-control, speech recognition, facial analysis and augmented reality. Developers, who will hail from over 30 countries, will vie for up to $1 million in cash and other prizes.
