FCC Votes to Require Closed Captioning for Web Clips

The FCC is back at protecting the US populace by imposing additional rules. The federal agency has expanded its 2012 ruling of close captioning videos by requiring closed captions on some Internet video clips also.

It is essential that people with disabilities not only get the same access as the rest of us, but that the access that they get is as timely and therefore as relevant, as what the rest of us get. Access delayed is often the same as access denied.
