China Approves IBM, Lenovo Server Deal

The multi-Billion dollar deal of Lenovo’s buyout of IBM’s server business has passed muster with the Chinese government. The only barrier at this point to the completion of the sale would be the objection of the US government.

In June, it was reported that US regulators are concerned that national security may be weakened, and "Chinese spies" may be able to access the Pentagon's servers.
