Sony Says the PS4 Hardware Is Already Profitable
Sony has announced that only seven months into the sales of the PS4, the console is already starting to show a profit. Consoles are usually loss-leaders for the sales of games, but Sony is now already in the plus column in hardware sales.
Confirmation that the PS4 hardware is turning a profit comes from CEO Kazuo Hirai during a corporate strategy meeting held this week.
