Verizon Wireless Offers $5-a-Day Data Rate for Tablets
Verizon announced this week that in addition to its prepaid 30-day data service, the company will now offer a flat-rate $5 per day/300 megabytes access plan. Verizon follows AT&T who implemented a $5/250 megabyte per day plan in October.
The new $5 daily service plan is not designed for customers who want access to Verizon's data network all the time. Instead, it's intended for customers who may need LTE services only occasionally, when Wi-Fi service is not available
