Intel Snaps Up Fujitsu Wireless to Improve LTE
Intel has purchased Fujitsu Semiconductor Wireless Products for an undisclosed sum. The move will accelerate Intel’s development of more advanced LTE components and devices, closing the technology gap with rival Qualcomm.
The move should help Intel develop more advanced LTE products and expand its Bay Trail products internationally in 2014.
